On July 13, 2011 the Ambassador of Ukraine to China Yurii Kostenko had a working meeting with Mrs. Gao Ye, Vice-Director-General of the China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. (CGGC).

Company CGGC is a big state-owned company that specializes in building large facilities, engineering studies, design, maintenance and operation of hydropower plants. The visiting card of the CGGC is the world's largest hydroelectric power station «Sanxia».

The issues of the particular ways of cooperation between the CGGC and Ukrainian partners in the implementation of the infrastructure projects by the CGGC in Ukraine were discussed during the meeting. The irrigation projects, wind power project with capacity of 200 Mw and reconstruction of the electric power net in the Crimea, power station project in Odesa are among the projects that the company is studying for further cooperation with Ukraine.
