On September 17, 2020, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the People's Republic of China Serhii Kamyshev met with the Chairman of the Counsellors’ Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Mr. Wang Zhongwei.

The Counsellors’ Office of the State Council of the People's Republic of China is an advisory body of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, which makes proposals for regulations issued by the government and studies public opinion on the effectiveness of the government’s policies.

During the conversation, the sides discussed a wide range of issues related to the development of bilateral relations between Ukraine and China in such spheres as politics, economy and culture.

In particular, the sides exchanged their views on the ways to intensify high-level political dialogue between the two countries, the possibility of involvement of Chinese companies in the development of logistics infrastructure of the Northern Black Sea coast, as well as deepening cooperation between research centres of the two countries.
